I had to admit (which was rather embarrassing, in light of the immense interest shown by my friend), that I didn't have the foggiest notion of when Caty and I would get together again... or where we might be headed!
Then, as usual, Providence intervened.
It seemed like only yesterday that I'd heard about some 21st century author by the name of Douglas Adams (no relation to my colleague John Adams from the American Revolution in the 1700s, as far as I can tell)... a writer who'd chronicled the exploits of a hapless young man named Arthur Dent as he discovered a tome called "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy," and proceeded to be caught up in all sorts of thoroughly bewildering experiences.
Well, as it turned out, Caty and I were unexpectedly brought together once again (thanks to the meddling of Madame Mystery Voice, Xrana), and thrust into a journey quite similar to Arthur Dent's.
At this early stage, I cannot say any more than this, for fear of giving you, dear readers, a "spoiler" that would ruin the enjoyment of this upcoming book.
So please be patient... don't panic... and rest assured that we will make every effort imaginable to get a copy of this new story into your hands as fast as humanly (or extraterrestially) possible.
Your humble servant,
B.Franklin
