| Some of you readers may have noticed the various "video" (is that what you 21st century people call it?) advertisements for my new book "Who's Whom, Ben?" that have recently begun appearing on the "social media" pages of Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Tumblr. |
From what I'm told (not yet having witnessed them firsthand in my own time travels), there have been a number of directors, producers, and personalities who were pioneers in the amazing new field of television — without whom these videos would not have been possible.
Kudos to Big Chuck, Hoolihan, and Lil' John
| And lastly, there are scores of equally gifted local television station entertainers and technical geniuses — the forerunners of many of today's very creative Youtube producers — who parlayed similar advances in video and computer-generated imagery to tell their stories on the "small screen." |
Let's simply say that Schodowski's unique brand of zany, multi-layered digital magic planted the seed for the camera effects seen in our own crazy-quilt collection of video scenes promoting "Who's Whom, Ben?" ... like Caty's rescue from the flaming inferno of an environmental meltdown, the shocking discovery of the disappearing time machine, encountering a cloud of asteroids, witnessing the Battle of Lexington in 1775, and making a visit to the Tower of London.
Thank you all, for the inspiration!
Your humble servant,
B.Franklin
